The Executive Committee
Since its beginning in 1997, True Hearts Connection has been steered by
an Executive Committee. The Executive Committee is responsible for:
 | Proper matching of mentors and mentees |
 | Recruiting new Liaison Executives (Mentor), Liaison Coordinators (Mentee), Project
Managers and Business Managers |
 | Overseeing year-end community projects |
 | Overseeing bi-annual joint community project(s) |
 | Co-ordinating centralised training, joint activities and publicity/publication |

The committee consists of an Executive Chairman, an Executive Secretary,
Liaison Directors, Liaison Officers, an IT Director, a Data Administrator and a Finance
Director.

Responsibility of Liaison Officer:
- Recruiting new Mentor/Mentee Centres
- Drafting term budget for the Financial Controllers approval
- Establishing selection procedures with the Mentor/Mentee Centre to ensure high quality
of selected mentors
- Liaising and keeping in close contact with Mentor/Mentee Centre
- Monitoring results of the mentors/mentees, conduct evaluations and compiling statistics
- Keeping profile records of mentors/mentees and maintaining personal relationships
- Organising activities and decentralised training for mentors
- Keeping profile records of mentees and maintaining personal relationships
- Organising group activities for mentors and mentees
- Conducting evaluation for the mentees, mentees parents and mentees schools |

Responsibility of Executive Secretary:
- Maintaining proper records of all meetings, profiles of mentors and mentees, statistics
compiled by the Liaison Directors, evaluation forms, post mortems of all activities and
year-end community projects, and other secretarial documents
- Conducting opening and closing ceremony
- Issuing Certificates of Participation and Certificates of Merit
- Liaising with external bodies and mass media |
